And Jim Buss quickly signed up Steve nash and beamed inside like he did something :mjpls:

Not only that he hired MDA over Phil mainly due to Steve Nash. If he had hired Phil, it would have been an admission that his reasons for signing Nash was wrong.

Lets examine Jim Buss' sponsored moves so far.
1) Hired Rudy T. :snoop:
2)once Phil contract was up, fired mostly every body associated with Phil
3)Did not hire Shaw
4)Hired Mike Brown
5)thought kobe was :flabbynsick: so didn't bother consulting dude.
6)Force team to move away from Kobe-Pau centric offense(which won us a 'ship the previous (then)season) and feature Bynum more. This cause Pau to move away from the basket
7)Once trade for CP3 broke down, got rid of Odom faster than you can blink.
8)Traded Fisher in a bid to isolate Kobe and further give more power to Bynum
9)Trade for Dwight Howard-->meh, good move.
10)traded for Steve Nash thinking he could replicate Suns offense and ignoring that Stoudemire is superior to Howard offensively. Gave him 3 year extension :snoop:
11) Fired Brown and hired MDA instead of Phil Jackson :troll:

The Lakers were worse prior to him even becoming head coach. Things haven't really improved, but they certainly haven't gotten worse. At no time under 'Antoni have the Lakers been in more of a despair, than they were prior to starting the season 1-4.

The inherent problem with the team is the makeup of it. That isn't 'Antoni's doing. The main problems would still be there right now, if he wasn't hired as coach. The outcome of their season, would still be the same if he wasn't hired as coach.
:pachaha:

Look how the knicks improved from a 8th seed to 2nd in the east without Mike, all the knicks picked up were a couple of role players. The Lakers made the playoffs last year and acquired then Nash and Dwight, now they are fighting for a 8th spot, what's the common denominator in these 2 equations

the funny part is the revisionist history... why weren't any Laker fans saying this before the season?

All we heard about was "I really think we can get to 73 wins. Doesn't even matter who the coach is, you seen who we got out there?!"... "Dogg, Nash is gonna average 15 dimes a game... Kobe's probably gonna only score like 20 because he's not gonna shoot as much, he finally has some help (ignoring all the stacked teams that he's had throughout his career)"... "We got a top 5 PG, top 5 PF, and the best C and SG in the league!!! who's fukkin with us?!?! LAKESHOW bytch!"

Truth of the matter is, it doesn't matter who you have on your squad if Kobe is gonna insist on being the primarily ball handler and chuckin up contested shots over 4 defenders when the game is close in the 4th quarter while committing dumb turnovers along the way.

Yeah cause a team can't win a 5 time champion, Kobe bailed us out so many times this season this post just screams "I don't watch Laker games but ima pretend I do do I can shyt on Kobe"

Please don't post on subject you don't know about, it's cringe-worthy for us who actually watch the games

This has been the most shocking to me. The Laker that demands the most out of everyone else has made some REALLY terrible turnovers late in the 4th. Even in the playoffs, Kobe made some terrible turnovers that cost Lakers the game.

How much better would they be with Phil though? Sure they would probably be in the playoffs but would they really be 20 games better? Would they really be the contender they were predicted to be? With all bytchassness, selfishness, and injuries I'm not sure if even Phillip could've salvaged this season.

They wouldn't be any better, no coach was going to improve them past where they're now (relatively speaking). Anybody that thinks any differently is kidding themselves.

Let's just put it like this

Kobe has done a lot more to help us win games than lose games, and it's not close

I'm kidding myself for thinking the greatest coach of all time wouldn't differ from one of the most overrated coaches of all time, in terms of making the te better?:mindblown:

Coaching is HUGE in the NBA, look at the Bulls

The amount of shyt the Lakers have gone through this season, no coach was going to make them significantly better. Was Jackson gonna magically make them all healthy? Was Jackson gonna cure dwight's bytchmade attitude? Was Jackson gonna fix the makeup of the team?

No.
