Being concerned about the state of hip hop is HIP HOP...That shyt been going on as soon as hip hop was formalized and spread beyond New York, and other cities, states and countries started peppering the game with their own cultural spices...
The East vs West was started because of a "state of hip hop" argument...
No experience is ever greater at the moment than it is when nostalgia kicks in...
If Hip Hop is dead, then Rock Music has probably decomposed to nothing but hair and other inorganic matter...I don't hear ANY decent rock music ANYWHERE in mainstream channels...
I have to dig DEEP to find any rock worth my ears...
