come on, bruh.

theres an entire mindstate change when you're dressed in a certain way.

what you wear really does affect how you carry yourself.

Think about it yall...in the 60s we started gaining self consciousness and started going away from what was deemed acceptable by whites. We grew Afros and facial hair and wore dashikis. We don't need to dress like them in order to maintain our dignity

So you're telling me whites got a monopoly on suites?

I can guarantee you anytime I ever wore a suit being accepted by a cracka was the last thing on my mind. Plus as of right now I'm still rocking my fro and beard hell I've even turn down some jobs because people din't like my afro. So to me this is an strange concept even though I can see where you're coming from.

Nothing wrong with suits. There are occasions when theyre necessary but how many Africans do you see rocking suits? As a people we decided we were gonna do our own thing and not be trapped by the white mans ideals. Its the same thing with names
