Because players understand they just can't go out there and stat-pad without there being consequences. If all five players of a team went out there and padded their stats (cherry-picked and didn't stick to their defensive assignment just so they could hang around the paint to grab rebounds), do you think that team would ever be in a winning position?

But they can.

Every single player can pad their stats. It's just some choose not to, and others aren't in a position on the regular to take advantage of padding their stats. To deny that is essentially denying a player can even run up and down the court.

Right. What Giannis is doing at his size is impressive. But numbers and similar statlines aren't as out of the norm nowdays in a league where bigs are expected to play on the peremiter. People are already saying MVP and potential LeBron/KD all time tier.

Naw breh giannis will be an all time player when its all said and done. Where not talking bout towns wiggins or a devin booker. Just watch one of his games he is dominating everybody its unreal how automatic he is in the paint. His problem is his jumper its so broke outside of 15 teams just triple team late in games. If he can get it to a respectable level he will be the clear cut best player in the league once bron is done.
