A man killing the lover of his wife is not some extraordinary stuff. It's bad and it should be punished, but it reasonably can be expected, even from the softest man. It's a moment of rage.
I've seen men killed themselves because their wife cheated on them.
I've seen men kill because their wife cheated on them.
I've seen men having stroke/losing their mind because their wife cheated on them.
Adultery is serious business. Always been, always will.
Some people are tough enough to bite the bullet but don't walk around expecting it from every men.

I understand snapping moments but it’s also not unreasonable to assume he might have been showing some of this prior to the incident either. Plenty of violence starts in phases.
Only way chicks in general will stop cheating or be more hesitant to do so is if men start directing this energy towards the woman who cheated on him instead of the man he don’t know from a hole in the wall who did what he would have done had the roles been reversed

It's unreasonable since we have no indication of such a thing.
Maybe he was a violent husband, maybe not. The thing is we don't know.
You can't assume past violent behaviors based on a current violent reaction to an unusual traumatic event.
