No. I wanted fun...Pacific Rim is fun....Mad Max is fun..John Wick is fun...this shyt was awful. There's a line between fun and completely stupid ( the last couple F&F flicks)....and this leapfrogged it.

I disagree. Its just a bit of outrageous fun imo. I used it to kill time until power rangers came on.

Movie universes existed before marvel. As did end credit scenes. They can't swagger jack something that marvel themselves didn't invent.

The whole concept of kong vs godzilla etc with crossover movies has been around like 80 fukking Years.

Kong is just a dumb disaster/action flick. The Deep Blue Sea comparison is spot on. You just go to watch Sam Jackson act like a fukking nut, hear some cheesy jokes and watch Kong wreck shyt.

It's definitely better than that wack/dull ass Godzilla remake from a few year back.

And Peter Jackson turned it into one of the greatest movies of all time, so good in every way, nearly cried when Kong died
