I'm fully expecting him to nod off and take a nice afternoon nap during a Kenny Omega matchJim Ross needs to stick to interviews from now on, he doesn't have Vince yelling in his ear to keep him alert.

Oh
I would've never known that. I haven't watched smackdown in like 5 years.![]()
Time passes people by and he's not as knowledgable about puro and the players as he was in WWE. And he doesn't seem to appreciate the ROH/NJPW fast paced matchesRoss when he's in a live event seems more inspired. I remember hearing the last match he called in the WWE with the End of the Era cell match and he seems right at home because that's the boys he came up with. Monday Night Raw and PPVs are his strong points. Even when he was on Smackdown, He seemed uninspired.

I think this thread may have been made pre-maturely.
All because Jim Ross seems to have ramped back up to his quality level this week on njpw.
He is in the pocket and seamless with the action this week.
Previously he was a bit off sync and that was probably unfamiliarity and rust.
Now, this week he is great.

I saw some of it last night and didn't like.
a big step down from mauro ranallo but I'll reserve further judgement until I catch the replay next week.
He was as good as uwf last night, breh.
If you looking for him to be over top like the wwf.
That may never happen.
On njpw, he calls it like when he first got in the biz and was a Dr death mark and Stan.

I'm not a fan of his wwf stuff.
I liked him better in wcw.
He is more in line with that NWA to wcw era after uwf in njpw.
Art Barr
he has that aura like somebody's grandpops commenting on current stuff that he less than casually follows.
