That's too much damn work. I just run the water hose over all the groceries before I bring them inside, and I haven't had been sick either. A good rinse is sufficient.

I work with a population of people who are often homeless or deep in the trenches so I've been living like this for years. I keep hand sanitizer in my car and on my keychain or work bag at all times and if I know I'm gonna be in the field all day I keep at least a liter of water and hand soap in my trunk so I can thoroughly wash my hands if need be (this is also great for road trips).

As far as the rest goes...I mean I was raised in a black household so I knew better than to get in bed or sit down in my outside clothes from jump.

Man, I haven't been sick since October 2019 :dahell:

I don't even remember what it feels like to be sick anymore.

:dahell:

I'm extra clean these days. I use hand sanitizer every time I get back in my car when I'm out and about. Mask on. When I get home, I wash my hands. I take off the clothes that I wore outside and I keep them in a certain room if I don't just outright wash them.

Man, before covid, I didn't realize how filthy people were, myself included.

:dahell:

I used to think I was pretty clean but man, I would go in stores and touch things and then touch my face. NEVER

:dahell:

Shake people's hands and then eat some snacks. NEVER

:dahell:

I would come home from being God knows where and I wouldn't wash my hands. NEVER

:dahell:

Sometimes I would go straight to my bed and sit on it. Hands dirty, clothes dirty. NEVER

:dahell:

There may have even been a couple times when I was just so tired that I fell asleep in the clothes I wore outside :dahell: NEVER

Used to buy food out the store and come straight home and put it in the fridge with all those germs on it NEVER

:dahell:

Now I can't even IMAGINE living like that. All of that seems like another lifetime ago.

Speak on it, you filthy animal c00ns and cacs. :pacspit:
This is pretty standard. I don’t know if it’s a woman thing but I was taught to live this way since I was a kid. I think men just don’t care.

The stuff you listed is standard.

I also have 2 sets of slippers (separate set for upstairs/master bedroom that is never worn downstairs)

Don’t wear shoes beyond foyer

Don’t put purse/bags on bed or seating in master bedroom (any bed/seating upstairs) without wiping the bottom with a cleaning wipe (Lysol wipe or something) because I don’t want germs from outside in bedroom

Never sit on bed with outside clothes

Never take food upstairs/in bedrooms. No exceptions ever. Only thing that goes upstairs is water or tea

I probably wash my hands at least 25x a day.

You never touched your face without washing your hands because that helps prevent acne, but especially after covid/ being around sick people in general.

Use paper towel/tissue to touch handles and light switches because they are filthy

Use gloves @ gas station or at least wipes so I don’t touch any surfaces when getting gas

Etc

I only wear masks around patients, tho, or sick ppl in general. Other than that I’ve been done with the mask thing for a minute.

Nothing wrong with washing your food, just use a bowl or a dish of some sort. When i was working in a fine dining restaurant we had a giant salad spinner to wash our green leafy veggies. but we were mostly just concerned with removing dirt,

People that treat their bare naked sink like a bathtub for food are the ones the food industry is talking about when they say don't wash your food. because they are just creating a petri dish of germs. But putting your raw chicken in a bowl with some lemon juice is fine,

ultimately the safest way to ensure your meat is safe to eat and germ free is to cook them to the recommended internal temp where bacteria dies.
Fire is and will always be a greater disinfectant that actual disinfectant, and much better disinfectant than just rinsing with water in the sink.

A good trick to clean meats:dame: is using apple cider vinegar or lemon juice wash. It will kill bacteria and parasites.

You can also use it on your veggies too.
