I get it. As of right now, we are on the same page. This is my first real relationship and my Wife was single for 5 years before we started dating. Said that to show she isn’t a serial monogamous like many people are.

Most parents with kids don't talk to their kids about them dating though, they just bring random adults back to the crib and try to force a relationship between them and the kids and wonder why they end up having issues. Sorry breh. But much of this is about raising your kids to respect authority. You just said "random adults". The key word for me as a child is "adult". Doesn't matter who they are, I was raised to defer. That means quiet unless spoken to etc. etc. My Mom was a single Mom and never had issues dating. She didn't have a string of men coming through. There were 3-4 serious people throughout my life including one man she married. All of them embraed treating me like a son simply because I knew how to conduct myself. I even found out later my football coach/math teacher from ES was trying to get my Mom to have a kid with him because he wanted her to make another kid like me.
