:what:

I'm wrong because I'm not caping for a bytch who killed someone in an armed robbery? If his mum did a better job instilling values in him growing up, he and the shop owner would still have their lives.

Regardless, I don't like the support we decide to throw behind people who fail as human beings, especially when we are all too willing to go in on someone over minor infractions in comparison. It's like there is this underlying love for those who do wrong.

With all due respect,

I think breh paid his debt to society. I don't think anyone here is condoning breh's actions, but to sentence a teen(still a minor) to a life sentence is cruel and unusual punishment.

If you know about the history of the US judicial system, they have always been extremely harsh towards Black men and boys. There was a young 14 year old, I believe that was his age, that was executed in prison back in the 1940s. I also learned that during the Scottsboro Boy's case in the 1930s, it was reported that a 10 year old Black boy was sent to an adult prison.

Lastly, no white minor was ever executed in the history of the US. You may have your disdain towards this man which is your right, but I believe that the breh should be given another chance at life. It was heartfelt to see his mother embrace him with so much joy because she probably didn't think she would see him free again.
