With all due respect,

I think breh paid his debt to society. I don't think anyone here is condoning breh's actions, but to sentence a teen(still a minor) to a life sentence is cruel and unusual punishment.

If you know about the history of the US judicial system, they have always been extremely harsh towards Black men and boys. There was a young 14 year old, I believe that was his age, that was executed in prison back in the 1940s. I also learned that during the Scottsboro Boy's case in the 1930s, it was reported that a 10 year old Black boy was sent to an adult prison.

Lastly, no white minor was ever executed in the history of the US. You may have your disdain towards this man which is your right, but I believe that the breh should be given another chance at life. It was heartfelt to see his mother embrace him with so much joy because she probably didn't think she would see him free again.

You don't pay for a life with 21 years. He was 16 years old when he decided to commit murder to take what another man worked for me.

The problem identified isn't being harsh, it is the lack of consistency which is to say they need to punish white teens with the same severity.

It's like the fact that he took a life, which has no doubt left a family with grief they'll carry for the rest of their lives, is lost on people. "Look at how happy his mum is :gladbron:".

The reaction is why I would butcher someone's family if they fukked with mine. This expectation that people should be able to play happy families after ruining another. It makes me sick.

I appreciate your response, but check this out...

My main issue with your original post is that you came at breh's mother for his actions. You basically accused breh's mother of not raising him right.

To me, that is a blant disrespect to her because you don't know her! How do you know that breh's mother didn't instill morals and values in her son?

If she was truely a fukked up mother, then why did she raise his seed or at least assisted in helping his bm raise his son?

Breh made his choice and it costed him a significant amount of his life which he can't take back. But, his actions has nothing to do with his mother!

I felt his mother and I understood her joy when she saw her son. Think what you want about breh, but stall his momma out!!

Why should I have any respect for his mother? I don't respect her because her reaction goes against my understanding of responsibility.

You think I would shed tears of joy for the release of my degenerate son, knowing that that he killed someone because of his greed? That is disrespectful to the family who can only takes flowers to the victim's grave.

You have these fukked up bytches running rampant in society because they know they won't be disowned and shunned. That's something that falls on their house, peers and community.

You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do, but I am telling you that you have no right to hold her responsible for the actions of her son. There is only so much she can do. She can impose all kinds our restrictions and punishments for his behavior while under her roof, but if he chose to disobey her rules and do what he eventually did, then that is in HIM, not his mother!

It is obvious that you are from somewhere else or come from a different culture, but I understand that where they are from, it wasn’t an easy life.

We can agree to disagree with this topic, but I personally felt his mother when she saw her son. Breh may be whatever to you or whoever else, but that isn’t going to stop a mother from loving her son....
