He was a coward. Unless he had some known advantage on his opponent then he'd act hard. Walt was never the type to go head up with people. He was never a stand up guy. Instead of handling Jane like a man he sat there and watched shyt go down then never said anything to Jessie till the bitter end. Then the whole deal with Jessie's other chick and that kid. His whole catalog is filled with cowardly manipulative acts instead of direct moves.
