thinking about it...if you were born in like 87/88/89 its very likely X (or Mase) was most likely your first favorite rapper.

He definitely was. First time I heard him was when I was riding with my dad and he was playing this in his car.

I ain't never banged my head harder. Ever since then I never stopped listening to his albums. X is a legend :to:

nikka was aight, but compared to the GOAT he was simply another one of Hov's whipping boys on wax :scusthov:

Earl 8 Ball aka Crack Man X aka The Last Vialwhisperer aka Crouching Crackhead, Hidden Fiend got bodied by the GOAT on every Jay collab worst than his life is being bodied by that glass dikk :scusthov:

Not to mention he only got 1 classic while the GOAT Hov got 6 :scusthov:

Yea brehs :mjcry:

Favorite parts about X's set of Survival Of The Illest is when they do "Money, Power & Respect" & also "X Is Coming".

The powerful prayer - as always - is powerful too.

I remember that people used to say that Xzibit was biting DMX with the "X" shyt & throwing it up during the "Restless" days. I personally LOVE both & its nothing big to fuzz about but i always remember that. Think it was accurate tho.

Major props for this. I remember Gotti mentioned something somewhere last year of BET having a segment/documentary about Ruff Ryders. I always wondered when that would come out.

Cant wait.

Interested in a few of those others too.
