no, they just tell them they're morally inferior, and will burn in hell forever
i don't think religion is "dumb", and i get why people are religious/hopeful, i just find it childish. to think that there's some magic party up in the clouds, where all the "good" peoples' ghosts are floating around, and jesus is working the door? gimme a break
and i'm not even saying there's no creator. but the fact that humans have made up a thousand different versions of him, makes it pretty clear that no one knows what it actually is. of course everyone thinks their version of the story is special, and "the real one", but that's laughable. it's just a different flavor of the month
the ancient greeks were 100% sure they had it right. now we teach their religion as "myths" to 4th graders
That would just make us judgemental, not inherently dumb as some of you like to portray. This would make us no different than people who believe they are intelligent based on memorizing unproven science and history facts. Or because weve been brainwashed to accept European norms aka white is right. People are deem mentally, morally inferior all the time based on European and other standards. Why is christianity such a flash point for athiest. The world would be a better place if they put this energy somewhere constructive. This actually puts them in the same boat as most Christians. People who spend too much time misdirecting their energy are unwise, and they exist on both sides
