Managers at In n Out Burger make 160k a year

Sounds reasonable and at 160k a year you know their managers are cream of the crop. You hand tt hem the keys and the business is essentially self ran at that point with little oversight. Managers probably on their Ps and Qs 25/8 because no other job is paying them 160 outside of silicon valley. Not a bad strategy. Pay them more and they care more so you as an owner can care less.

This makes sense. I've only been to In and Out twice out in Cali but they seem to be ran pretty efficiently and the working environment looks fun for the workers.

Whenever I go to In-N-out burger in LA or Las Vegas it’s always a MAD HOUSE. Crazy long lines and no where to sit, drive through backed up super long.

It’s still run very well though. Just the sheer Demand from tourists is constantly crazy.

They prolly had to raise the pay to keep quality management in the restaurants. :yeshrug:


Or else the turnover would be TOO MUCH

In and Out is in more demand than architects, lawyers, doctors. We got all those already in NC, what we don't have is a IN and Out

that shyts rough. try to get a gang of teens (and some, lets be honest here, adults that are somewhat limited) and get them to churn a shyt ton of food out without screwing up too much

-inventory
-payroll
-the younger kids calling out every other day

i mean that is a nice chunk of change for the fast food biz, but its alot of work
