Yes, In N Out treat their employees very well, which is why they are always smiling and happy to serve you.

Its literally the perfect simple cheap burger joint. Big wide windows so you see what is happening with the food.

Cheaper than all the other fast food places and they keep it simple.

Crack-Donalds has 20 different ingredients in their French fries. In N Out has 3 ingredients (Salt, Oil, potato).

Yep pretty much.

Lots of different career paths make six figures plus....you'd be surprised.
Yup. I used to work at a Kroger grocery store in the hood and found out my manager was pulling in $100K a year :ohhh:. He drove an old Toyota Corolla to work and hid his nicer car at home :mjlol:

Nobody is hating...160K in Silicon Valley area isn't a lot of money...

Facebook and Google engineers making 6 figures and being homeless or shaking up

Scraping by on six figures? Tech workers feel poor in Silicon Valley's wealth bubble

Running a food service industry isn't cushy...either

Waffle House paying high 5 figures down south...a similar salary to In-N-Out Burger managers...
160k is GREAT in silicon valley if you are single person. Everyone makes a huge deal out of the living expenses out here, but I am self employed and only bring in about 80 to 130 a year depending on how well I do, and Im living very well.

You aren't going to be balling like if you lived in some shytty southern city, but it isn't as bad as people make it seem.

Just imagine the stress and the hours you would have to put in :francis:
OP is late but all their managers start from bottom and sacrifice years to get up to that amount. Seniority plus it’s not a bunch of spots available. Dudes waiting on a manager to fukk up or retire.

Most have transferable skills but all a mofo would know is In-N-Out, in and out. Pun-intended.

Not true...customer service, management (if they become a manager), time management, sales, marketing (if you get into management) tons of other soft skills but skills that can get you work in other industries.

But beyond that, if you professionalize it by joining a trade organization like the National Restaurant Association or National Retail Federation. If you get really serious and want to learn more about the industry of fast food the sky's the limit since the industry is international.

You can even learn entrepreneurship from working fast food, especially if you want to open your own place (even if it's just a food cart). You'll learn a lot about automating a process and efficiency...

No matter what you decide to do I just think you should commit to it and do the most. You get more out of it that way.

My Mexican neighbor said he made around $90,000 a year plus $12,000 in bonuses but the hours could be 60 hours a week or more if u have call offs and the night time dealing with gangbangers and threats took a toll.
