It was a unique situation, this bill only had a chance as part of a reconciliation. They should’ve never decoupled it from the infrastructure bill, although I’m not sure if they could’ve did a two for one on the reconciliation side.

At this point, Biden is best off going the executive order route with his priorities. I’d make good on that $10,000 write down of student loans to win back voters if I were him.

Democrats better hope they don’t lose House majority and too many senate flips.
