I think if there wasn’t mass tax avoidance that we wouldn’t need high taxes for anybody. Once you make investments into the public you will get a return and the costs/needs will decrease. Things like food aren’t growth industries like say the military industry so there won’t be temptation to milk the funds like they do with the mil budget.

But people are more greedy than they are smart.
