You realize that this is because we don’t have proper social safety nets in this country, and a ridiculous minimum wage, when we have a government that is telling you to pick yourself up by your bootstraps, everybody, not just black people, need to work 2+ Jobs just to live. That’s great if you have the energy, and hustle to work your life away, but people shouldn’t have to live like that. It’s very hard to see if you are super happy with capitalism, but not everybody is. Through our interactions on here, I know you are a “Got mine, fukk yours” type of person, and that’s fine, nobody can tell anybody how to live, I used to see it that way too, but now, with my wife on disability, I have seen closely how the govt works and how our most vulnerable citizens are treated, and I just can’t sit here and pretend like this is okay. I make more than enough to support us, I have a great job, I’m pretty much living a comfortable, upper middle class life, financially, I have benefited a great deal from Republicans running the govt, socially, my family and I have benefited so much more from Dem leadership, local and big govt, both. The 2 party system is so fukking broken, but the Republic*nt party today is absolutely evil and harmful to all Americans that aren’t rich and white, that’s fact, any argument otherwise is just wrong and misinformation.
