Manga or Anime?

Manga and its not close, some of the atrocities I've seen with anime adaptations have been 
Usually animes pick up a manga story while its still ongoing, the problem is when the anime catches up they have to add dumb fillers that contradict the manga most times and cause the story to be convoluted, or it just changes the story completely and does its own thing. I liked Soul Eater and Full Metal Alchemist animes until I read the mangas 
it wasn't until Brotherhood that FMA got the anime it deserved. I like both but I'll take mangas by miles

most of the anime that come out are based on light novel or manga. that pretty much means most anime ends up unfinished because they animate a popular work that is ongoing and the plot hasn't warped up.I choose Anime. Been watching it for almost 30 years and never was interested in manga
that alone makes manga better because you actually get the full plot versus either an abrupt ending or a made up anime original or in some cases filler.
