I guess I was wrong when I heard it would be on break. But good chapter.

So by all accounts it seems nothing with Fern and Stark seems to have gone off after traveling back in time. And the only hint we have is Himmel keeping that secret to his grave. But you can tell how much he loved and admired Frieren. The dream of him marrying her was never going to be possible outside of that dream. But to have that moment might have been enough for him.

This is one of those chapters that if it ever gets animated would be a blast if animated well. Which is a big if on its own. But once again Hayato showing why he is a great mc. Plus seeing the parents react to each of the girl's performance was great as well.

Another great chapter

Poor Elysia. Chosen as the hero and her mother did all she could. But being the hero ended up being a burden of being a hero ended up being more so a burden for her mother. Where she had to run away if she wanted to keep Elysia safe. Could of been easy to ditch Elysia, but it just showcased she was a true loving mother.

That whole sequence of pages where the rain drowned out her mother's voice, but Elysia telling her mom she found them. Could this imply both Corelo and Mamama?As we saw in the previous chapter with Corelo stepping up to save Minerva, we see Elysia stepping up in just the same way. Great stuff.

We all know the road wasn't going to be easy for Taki, but man knowing you gotta beat Haryu. Talk about raising the stakes. This is Haryu's last chance, but this is Taki's last chance to win nationals the same year as Natsu. I get the concern that Natsu's dad wants her daughter to remain focus with her goals. I just hope he doesn't take Taki and her dating as something like she isn't taking it seriously. This chapter also was a quick reminder Kyo is a true bro. He might not have as many chances to shine in this series, but as Taki's wingman he has been on point since his introduction.

Ayaka's backstory actually really is another example of following your passion vs doing what you are expected to do. I respect it. You always should be striving to what you are passionate. And man the attention to detail that this manga goes into is soooooooooo good. But Nao is a worthy opponent like Ayaka mentions. Nao's reaction skills really showing up in this chapter. Can't wait to see more.

The Mc is the type of competitor I absolutely hate IRL. But this is a credit to the author to show how low he can sink. Where he says he wants to win whatever the cost this is where he undermines all those people that worked their ass off to get where they are. Lets see how the author goes from here this can be the start of some good character development. This series definitely has legs. Next chapter is a big one.

Been reading the first 7 volumes of Yubisaki to Renren/ A Sign of Affection. Honestly this is a fantastic shoujo manga. It doesn't have the annoying melodrama and repetitive troupes that you usually see among shoujo series. It's a well written series.

The big thing for this series how it works with sign language given the female Yuki is full on deaf. It really puts into perspective one with such a disability has to deal with it and go along with that disadvantage. But it never makes Yuki as this helpless girl as it shows how she works through these difficulties and overcomes then as it comes. Paneling in the manga is very expressive Sign language isn't an easy thing to use in manga and how Morishyta-sensei does it is so well done. It is very powerful and really enhances many big moments in the manga so far.

Now this is one series where the anime will have its hands full with adapting. In the textbox in this manga it uses a lighter color to represent when Yuki has trouble hearing as even with a hearing aid there are moments she can have trouble hearing. Hell you even have cases where words are written backwards showcasing that difficulty she deals with. Then you also have sign language which I rarely have seen much anime that uses them.

Man Grisha is really a b*stard. "I could revive who you love most." Yea that gives obvious signs he's playing with Kuptula's emotions. But man Corelo and Elysia were in sync this chapter. But man Elysia really got pissed enough to call out Kuptula because obviously she would love to have her mom back, but thats not how the world works.

Great job by Corelo setting up Elysia for the big hit. Also between them unintentionally handholding and Elysia calling Corelo manly on the last page I have grown to love the dynamic between these two.

Blue Box Chapter 131

Oh wow we actually had parts of the basketball game I wished we had more of this in this manga. Taki kind of realizing Yumeka coming back made the path to nationals harder for Natsu. But considering how much of an impact getting Natsu and Yumeka as friends again, that was the thing that really made Taki special in Natsu's eyes. Taki should honestly have more confidence in Natsu.

I love the whole conversation between Haryu and Hyoudou. Haryu wants to go the safe route compared to Hyoudo. Makes sense you want to do well in academics to ensure you secure a path that is not sports. But neither of their choices of college is wrong at the end of the day. But I love him saying I won't lose to a student of yours even if Hyoudo probably wouldn't consider Taki his student. Their match is getting more and hyped damn.

New series Shogi series in Jump+. In terms of setting up the characters. But the series needs to try to attempt to explain Shogi. This isn't like soccer or basketball where the rules at a basic level are easy to understand. Shogi is very complex and when they were explaining the moves I had no idea what any of that meant.

Kagurabachi Ch. 15

Honestly this might have been the best chapter so far. It was executed very very well.

Kuro Scatter makes sense for Chirio given his current condition. But man that backstory was beyond horrific for both Char and her mother. Her mom wanted a chance at happiness and she got that with Char but holy fukk I hope the father dies the most painful death. He could have just left them alone, but did an even scummier thing and sold them out. JFC. Man that last page was perfect.

Oh wow. Talk about making a statement in the 2nd round. Nao coming with a full force. She has that edge that Nito has, although she knows when its time to unleash it unlike Nito who kind of went there after getting a concussion.

The mention of what a person relies when they are a pinch reveals who they truly are. As it will lead to use techniques that are most natural to you. And Hanagasaki uses the form of the sport she grew up in unsurprisingly.

Great chapter, probably the best so far. Introducing parasites which are a more bigger threat to one person as they feed off stronger emotions. And stay with that person and it becomes worse and worse. The scariest thing is if this doesn't get resolved that shyt is permanent . Poor Asato With parasites it relies on the victim to get rid of it. Slowly but surely this manga is showing it has legs.

Read through the first volume and good first volume. This is a drama performing arts manga through Rakugo which is an art of story telling. Which actually works well in manga form because it's very very expressive. Basically the idea of one person telling a story. The big hook from chapter 1 being Akane's father gets expelled from Rakugo school in chapter 1 in which starts Akane's journey to showcase that he was great at Rakugo. Works well imo to get me invested.

Most of volume 1 focuses on Akane's journey becoming Shiguma's apprentice. So throughout the years Akane has been working with Shiguma partly because he felt responsible for Akane's father being expelled. Which leads her to gather such a great reception for a girl her age much to a lot of people's surprise. But I do love the conversation Shigma has with Akane and her mom as she understands this is whom her daughter is and she is supportive of her following her passion. But of course as a mom she knew all along she was training . She becaomes Shiguma's apprentice. But we learn the 3 ranks. Zenza, which is entry level, which Akane will start. Second is Futatsume, which is the time when get to hone your skill specifically for Rakugo. Finally is Shinuchi.

Shigma has Akane work with Kyojim whom is of rank Futasume. What I do love we see Akane getting humbled understanding while she is talented she tries to force her way of storytelling even if it doesn't fit the audience. What I love even more is that she learns how to improve without even doing Rakugo. Rakugo is similiar to providing customer service as your goal is to get your audience/customer to come back again. What she learns from the boss is you need to understand what the audience/customer want. At the end of the volume Akane finally gets that point, which is fantastic.

Shangri-La Frontier Volume 9

No surprised Sunraku was the guy to beat Rust. But damn Rust was ready for the rematch frame one . Kind of cool to see that both Rust and Mordo played a good amount of SLF, but Rust lost interest due to there being no mechs . They made Rust into one big mech head. So basically they offer Sunraku information about a unique scenario, but unique monster have a bonus unique scenario attributed to them. Sunraku's gaming connection paying dividends. The issue on Sunraku's end is that the mechs have a shared ownership with him Arthur and Katzo. Katzo overall is pretty reasonable, but Arthur on the other hand will be a headache to please for Sunraku.

So a new player named Akane found the unqiue scenario to land herself in Rabituzo. Now Sunraku freaking out that his monopoly being ruined is kind of funny. Not too much he can do. Bilac gives Sunraku a new pair of powerful gaunlets, but damn he is in such a rush to meet Rust he just flies out of their without listening to the explanation . He ends up getting Rei's help because he deadass doesn't want to deal with Otazo or Arthur. Meanwhile Rei getting an invitation couldn't be more overwhelmed.

Sunraku makes quick work of an area boss on his way to meet Rei. But damn these two couldn't be on a different wavelengths. We get why she offered free help, but Sunraku's natural instinct waries someone giving him free luck . Rei gets slightly lost guiding Sunraku to getting to Fiftica to meet Rust.

On the way they meet with the SF-Zoo clan and well Arthur gave them information about NightSlayer from Arthur. And man she is such an ass , she knew how much of a hunch Sunraku gave her and knew they would be desperate for any information on how to get into Rabituzo. I mean its not surprising she would do to clean off her debts, but to have zero regret doing that damn. The SF-Zoo clan triggers Lycagon and they made a smart strategy to bind him and try to slowly unlock the Rabituzo conditions at a reasonable pace. Obviously Sunraku realized doing this way has a disugenious way compared to how it happened to him, so he doubts it would work so easily.

But here we really see Lycagon's true power as he uses the darkness to attack the SF-Zoo. And none of them doing too well once Lycagon goes off . Normally Sunraku would have no hesitation in fighting Lycagon again, but like at the beginning of the volume he is worried about his monopoly being gone. But him hesitating goes completely against his gaming beliefs. Rei talk about enjoying the game brings him back to his normal ways and holds no hesitation to fight Lycagon. Good for her since she has been basically a joke character so far this series. His thought process is basically screw all this game politics I am going play the game my way and have fun with it. Also we see Akane towards the end chasing after where Sunraku is going, will this bea more official partnership between the two? Also I got a feeling Rust might be waiting longer then she would like
