I've seen this paticular person I'm talking about manipulate others. I've watched them. They would never be able to manipulate me.

I don't think most people would be able to manipulate me. Persuade maybe, but not manipulate. Those are 2 different things you know.

ma·nip·u·late
məˈnipyəˌlāt/
verb
gerund or present participle: manipulating
  1. control or influence (a person or situation) cleverly, unfairly, or unscrupulously.
"the masses were deceived and manipulated by a tiny group"
    synonyms: control, influence, use/turn to one's advantage, exploit, maneuver, engineer, steer,direct, gerrymander;
twist someone around one's little finger
"the government tried to manipulate the situation"

per·suade
pərˈswād/
verb
gerund or present participle: persuading
  1. cause (someone) to do something through reasoning or argument.
"it wasn't easy, but I persuaded him to do the right thing"
synonyms: prevail on, coax, convince, get, induce, win over, bring around, coerce, influence, sway, inveigle, entice, tempt, lure, cajole, wheedle; More
    • (of a situation or event) provide a sound reason for (someone) to do something.
"the cost of the manor's restoration persuaded them to take in guests"
synonyms: cause, lead, move, dispose, incline
"a shortage of money persuaded them to abandon the scheme"

You have to have an incredibly naive perception of the world to see it as unfair or unscrupulous,

The harsh facts of life is that you have to do things which are not always good to get what you want. You have to place your needs and goals ahead of others.

The whole point of manipulation is to do things subtly, so often you wouldn't realise you're being manipulated.

OP a fakkit. He couldn't manipulate a starving man to eat a sandwich.

I'm going to manipulate this neg to weaken your already low rep you peasant:obama:

okay but give me an example of how you use it in your normal day.

For example, at work or school, you should always make a close alliance to those in positions of power, kill them with kindness & gain their trust. Never reveal any information about yourself that could ever be potentially used against you no matter how much you trust someone or state opinions which are controversial, but get people to reveal secrets about themselves which you can use later. Knowledge is powerful and you should try to gather as much information on people as you can so you can predict how they will act to a certain scenario and use that to your benefit.

Also, there's no such thing as a free meal, you should try to get people to owe you favours as it will help you in the future. For example, cover a persons shift & show your boss how valuable an employee you are. This kills 2 birds with one stone as your coworker would feel you're doing them a favour and your boss would also look at you more favourably than your coworker because you are seen as a dependable person.

You should never owe anyone anything. Being in someone's debt is dangerous and leaves you at their mercy.

In a relationship, you can use distance and unpredictability to create value. You gas them up for a while, then suddenly act distant, this creates a sense of value and a longing for you in your partners. However you have to utilise this with digression.

Manipulating people is wrong, especially when lying is involved. I do see/hear people get manipulated all of the time and it''s kinda sad to me. When someone tries to manipulate me, I always notice it and call them out on it.

I'm good at persuading people though. No lying involved :queen:
What's so wrong about it? And :dead:at you thinking you'll always be able to know when you're being manipulated. With any deft manipulator, by the time you realize what's happened/happening, you've already invested quite a bit. :mjlol:

Jack got you to do him a favor and will not give you anything in return b/c he doesn't owe you shxt even if you did decide to do him a favor. He politely declined, so What now?

No more favors from you? But jack doesn't need to use you anymore.

^ this is how the fools of the world operate, they fail to see that life is a game of social mobility. They would be food in the real world :wow:

Protect yourselves by studying people's actions & intentions or else you won't see any progress in all aspects of your lives.
