We got how many generations of women who re actively just say "I dont need no man, Ima strong independent women" like its a battle cry.. Men arent valued as fathers or husbands.. Just seed and atm.. Women dont even want to give up their child til they are uncontrollable. This confuses me. My husband told me early on that it's some stuff he'd have to do and say to my son that I might not understand as a woman, and that I needed to trust that he knows better than me how to raise a boy to a man. And I was like okay. And if I hadn't been okay with it, trust and believe he was gonna do it anyway.

So I don't understand how fathers, who are just as entitled to parenting as mothers, are somehow being prevented from actually doing that work. I don't gaf what black women say. We CAN'T do it alone, at least not properly. It's just words.
