I don't even want to know what chemicals went into making those ice covered vines. Really beautiful though...

BEIJING, CHINA (CCTV/CNN) - Not so renowned for its natural tourist attractions, a quiet valley in Beijing's southwestern suburb is taking advantage of the winter cold and drawing visitors with its ice crystal cascades.

At the entrance to the Shenquan Gorge scenic spot in Mentougou District an arch shaped in an artificial cascade made of ice-covered vines overwhelms the visitors.

Along with the artificial one, there is a natural ice cascade deep in the mountains. On the way visitors are treated with an eye-catching view of flowing water under a cover of ice.
