Luck has more arm talent than most of those guys. I don't know why you include Kaepernick in this discussion because he's overrated and older than the rest.

D Styles made his post, so I was making a comment based on that, I will admit Kap's completion percentage is an issue, but arm talent belongs to either Cam or Kap, the knock on Luck was his arm strength, again the numbers show a different story when you compare all these dudes, plus Bouldin can't get open so Kap's only target is Vernon Davis, once he gets Manningham (or Nicks through a trade) I think Kap will look better than he does right now, again the media has been slurping up Luck and I just don't get the hype, he made a few comebacks and now he's in the Hall of Fame and a two time Super Bowl winner. Remember, Luck has a Hall of Fame receiver who is still playing at a high level, a very nice second year guy in Hilton, a former top ten pick as a number three in Bey, Luck's old TE from Standford who's pretty solid, a solid RB (not great but solid) and a few other decent RBs for rotational purposes, he has a lot of talent, this was not a 2-14 team when he got drafted, again I just think he's overrated right now.

He also traded one of the best backs ever in his prime. Everything looks good when you have Peyton Manning. Where's Jerry Hughes at these days?

Just for your information, Marshall Faulk was holding out for a new contract, and it was Bill Polians decision to trade him to avoid rifts on the team. And the next RB they picked up Edge didn't seem to perform so bad now did he? :usure:

Jerry Hughes? :scusthov: You want to bring up every single draft pick every team has made over the last decade or so and nit pick for a bust here or there? I guarantee you this few if any teams have picked up as many future hall of famers in that same amount of time as the Colts. Manning, Edge, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Robert Mathis, and now possibly Luck.

And even fewer have brought in Hall of Fame (or atleast coach/GM of the year) coaches and personnel at the rate he has

Didn't Peyton and Marshall not get along?

As far as Irsay, I think he moves he's made, especially with the hiring of Hamilton and the trade for Trent, he not been smart decisions.

USA Today expands on that Irsay interview

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...-jim-irsay-no-regrets-peyton-manning/2984615/

Yet there are a few other numbers Irsay mentions that really hit home in processing the transition.

"We've changed our model a little bit, because we wanted more than one of these," Irsay says, flicking up his right hand to show his Super Bowl XLI championship ring.

"(Tom) Brady never had consistent numbers, but he has three of these," Irsay adds. "Pittsburgh had two, the Giants had two, Baltimore had two and we had one. That leaves you frustrated.

"You make the playoffs 11 times, and you're quarterback leads you to a one and done seven out of 11 times. Unacceptable. You love to have the Star Wars numbers from Peyton and Marvin (Harrison) and Reggie (Wayne). Mostly, you love this."

Then Irsay flicks up his right hand again.

Make no mistake. Irsay truly appreciates how Manning put his franchise back on the map, triggering a run of success — Indy won at least 12 games in seven consecutive seasons — that even contributed to the plush new stadium that has already hosted one Super Bowl and is in the running for another.

I think Bill Polian is a loud mouf idiot..

The man said Tim Tebow can play FB and means it.. :what:

I lost respect for his football acumen after he said that

I dont like Polian that much either....but all of these GM's tend to say crazy things at some point.
