fukkin fluke 97 Marlins ruined what could’ve been a legendary legacy. That Cleveland team was annoying as hell with how stacked it was in the mid-90s.
:shaq2:
100-44 in 1995 while scoring 5.83 runs per game :damn:

99 wins the next year and 4.77 a game :wow:

Only 86 wins in 1997 but again 5.4 runs a game :damn:

5.3 runs a game & 89 wins in 1998

97 wins and 1009 runs in 1999 (6.23 runs a game :bryan:)

90 wins (but no playoffs) with another 950 runs (5.9 per game) in 2000

91 wins and 897 runs again in 2001

It still makes so little sense how that offense didn’t pull off at least one title.

Their pitching was cursed :mjlol:

Either the starters got destroyed or the bullpen..

And they tried EVERYTHING

It was their bullpen that fukked everything up.

The same thing happened to the mid-‘90s Mariners. Griffrey, A-Rod, Edgar, Buhner, and Randy Johnson but an absolute dogshyt bullpen.

Mariners even traded young Jason Varitek and Derek Lowe for Heathcliff Slocumb in ‘97 because they were so desperate for relief. :francis:

A bad bullpen will fukk up a stacked team. :francis:
