Hakeem?

Dirk?

Hell, can't even call him the "most decorated" because Tony Parker has just as many rings as him AND a Finals MVP to go with it.

:camby:

Parker has also been in contention for regular season MVP on a few occasions.

Both of the Gasol Brothers have been better than Manu too.

USVI is "here" as well. tim duncan, melo and and any other american player who is eligible for another olympic team have the same thing in common: they are natural born american citizens and are eligible to be president.
ok

You not wrong, and I am not arguing against that.

I am going by what the criteria is that media people, etc put out.
Also, a lot of these young perimeter players loved Manu growing up, James Harden, D'Angelo Russell and more all modeled their games after his.
I know people say Harden based his game off Manu, but he looks like a taller Gilbert Arenas.

Tony's not a better player than Manu:usure:

Tony was just a starter and Manu wasnt but during their primes Manu was better

Only guy I'm taking over Manu is Dirk

Manu or Dirk, can't go wrong with either. Dirk had that run in 2011, but Manu been having great games against great teams.

In fact, as a Lakers fan, that's why I have to say Manu. Dude had me :scust: too many times to not give him credit for it.

People are forgetting how nice Ginobli was and still is:

Manu would have better numbers if he were a starter (or came over earlier), you gotta take his numbers with a grain of salt, especially since the only seasons where he started were his 3rd year in the league, and when he was 33 and no longer in his prime. His numbers as a starter during his prime years were nasty, but he didn't get that many.

Manu is at a point in where people are underrating his career because of the final numbers. Dude was a legit SG for many years.

Remember when people were bringing up the convo of picking Manu over Kobe? As blasphemous as it sounded then and even more now...it WAS a conversation for a short time.

This is his 22nd year of playing ball, the fact that he can still dunk is pretty remarkable tbh.

Dirk > Manu definitely.

Both are hall of famers, but Dirk is in that best PF convo...not saying he is #1, but he is in that convo.

Duncan could have competed for the US Virgin Islands in the Olympics.

I know what you saying. You are right, but the way this sport does it, Duncan can technically be labeled an international player.
He couldn't. You can't switch teams and the VI ain't have a team until like 2004. Duncan was already a member of team USA
