Papua new guinea has a higher income level than most countries in africa? PNG just came out of the stone age. africa was colonized hundreds of years ago. That doesnt make sense. If that is true, good for them. they are a success story that many people have overlooked.

They should use 'dubai' strategy and use that oil money and invest it in other things (i.e.: infrastructure, tourism, education, etc.). I'm assuming all of the country's wealth is concentrated in a small group of people while the poor are neglected.
