Pretty sad when you think about it but that shouldn't stop anyone from trying to get their name on this list one day. Hell, you don't even need billions. You just need a strong, determined family and the billions will come. Oprah was poor and so were a lot of other black millionaires. Not really, actually if you're talking black people, I usually hear the opposite. That they're parents were hard workers or bypassed college but instilled the value of dedication and education.

nah my dude. it certainly helps, much like a degree can help, but the main thing that helps someone become a millionaire (having come from nothing) is creativity, followed by strong work ethic, followed by a lil bit of luck.

Most of those a$$holes inherited their money. That's that white privilege. We gotta set our future generations up the same way cacs do to insure Our great-great-great grandkids can eat too. But a lot of black people in this country are living in the now and generational wealth don't mean jack shyt to many of us. So the cycle will just continue
