The article is misleading and one-sided you race-baiting piece of shyt!
so vietnamese fair well in education compared to chinese, japanese and koreans, yet a larger percentage of them attain less than a high school diploma?the division between SEA and chinese, korean and japanese is too distinct to ignore, regardless of whether you believe their population size makes them irrelevant.
Im glad people are starting to notice slick shyt like this."Asian Americans, along with whites, outperform other minority groups on educational success by large margins across states, a new report finds"
deceitful and treacherous writing/reporting by cacs. instead of AA outperforming everyone they had to throw in "along with whites" to make themselves feel better huh? patheticand lumping all AA into one group is misleading and unfair to the southeast asians who don't typically fair well in school like chinese, japanese and koreans.
why dont these cacs research and report on what helps minority kids perform better in school or how to improve low-income communities![]()

just today I was reading about prison.

check out the strategically placed ethnic ratio in the middle.
if that were the case it would have included hispanic:white ration exclusively because god knows the numbers are extremely lopsided in places like Cali, AZ and TX.how is that slick shyt, the website is trying to promote fair sentinecing by pointing out the disparities, do you have some other method of pointing out the disparities without pointing out race
the same with the article i posted, how do you notate racial disparities in education without asking about race?

because the article was about asians, their was no need to include whites in the asian bracket, on the contrary, whites should have been sized up against asians state by state so we can see the difference in performance. What's so "slick" about that? Whites and Asians perform at a similar level academically. Asians are only a tad bit better. There is huge gap between Whites (along with Asians) when compared to Blacks and to a lessor degree Latinos. Is there another way to describe this that doesn't appear to be "slick" in your opinion?

showing the disparity of hispanics, do they not matter?in your mind what would it accomplish by putting the white/hispanic ratio?

You have to first realize why race is used in the comparisons in the first place. What's so "slick" about that? Whites and Asians perform at a similar level academically. If the goal is to fix a problem then there are plenty of other categories, or lines to be drawn. You can't change skin color, so why should we be anylizing which skin color is doing what.
And even then how is a comparison between one skin color and a multitude of different ethnicities even valid in the first place?
