Nikka I may have misread, but I thought they had this dude dead to rights for murdering a child in cold blood. Obviously if there is any doubt someone committed a crime, they should get a trial, but you're telling me in cases where the perpetrator is proven to have murdered a child in cold blood, or have gunned down multiple innocent people (The Dark Knight Rises shootings for instance), they still deserve a trial?

They definitely deserve a trial. That is not something anyone can decide for another person. Everyone gets a trial point blank period. Considering not giving some people trials is a dark path that would definitely be abused by people in power.
