So this game is connected to the original Marathon as what this guy is saying. I thought it was just a completely different game that shares the same name. Also he's saying the original developers from the Halo Combat Evolved and up are working on the game with some level designers that created Zanzibar, Midship and Guardian being in key roles. Gameplay is more like Halo with weapons like the og Halo pistol, needler etc. having a variant in Marathon.

I believe Marathon will lead in the casual market for the genre and raise the ceiling but I still believe the ceiling won’t be as high as battle royale games.

Extraction shooters are asking a rough ask for players in the initial/upfront phase. With players losing all their loot upon being taken out. I don’t see the mass market getting over that aspect.

In the end, extraction shooters will always play the background role to Battle Royale shooters, they will be for the players looking for a more hardcore experience than BRs.

Honestly.....
Bungie should know that shyt better than anyone considering how they put their women front and center whenever its do or die for their studio

shyt, where's the chart that showed Cortana getting progressively curvier with each Halo release people can wrinkle up their noses about it, but its really easy to tell when a studio is trying to make money or make a statement. Former Concord devs suddenly revealing that they helped with Marathon doesn't help either.

best believe producers leaned in and made sure the thigh jiggle physics was on point for each marvel rivals character if they think they can run without it, cool, but easy money is easy money
