Meh, did the tutorial run and a regular one. Did nothing for me. Gunplay feels like good ole' Bungie stuff but the game feels sparse and too quiet. Not going to bother trying to get into this. The UI is so cluttered and busy. Not to mention this game will have someone tweaking with all the damn flashing colors.
Just watched my local streamer for about 2 hours and in that time they only managed to get into one fight with real ppl. Everything else was PVE and weird Destiny Raid mechanics for sub quests.
In other words: MID.

I still don’t understand why they did the story the way they did. Like damn you couldn’t add some lengthy audio logs or cinematics to this hoe? You basically coming up with the story yourself. Which would be ok if it was like Destiny 1 but there’s not much they can add to this type of genre. It’s either extraction shooter or nothing at all. Could’ve at least put a battle royale mode in that bish.

such an ugly UI. looting sucks in this and arc raiders. at least arc raiders has incredible sound design / ambiance / vibe.
Just from playing yesterday one thing that seems weird is meds and shields seem to be dropping way too low.
why the FUKK am I killing NPCs that dont drop any loot. are these nikkas serious? how is it a looter extraction game with no loot. so a robot can shoot at me infinite amount of times but when I kill them theres no ammo on their bodies. man get this shyt out of here. shyt is super pointless. I've tried like 4 different times to like this game but its not going, im out.
might need to let this bake.
gonna play some more on the weekend, but no way in hell would I cop if it were 70. It's 40 bucks so I'll see if they make some improvement.

Some of them drop loot but I agree.
I like it mostly because I hate hype games like Arc Raiders because people are just gonna glaze that game because it's what they are used to now.
I like the commitment to the art direction and the lore. It's good to see someone put some REAL effort and real money into it with this kind of game.
Now the gameplay itself is really solid (Its Bungie), I think the time to kill for people is too fast and the time to kill for the bots is too long. But other than that, I'm in. I like it a lot. I think personally, there could be more "raid boss" style enemies where people need to work together to kill, then figure out if they want to fight eachother.
But I run in to teams nearly every game I don't get the whole "there's no one in the map" argument. Just follow the gunshots lol

tbh tho, arc is getting just glaze. i think if marathon came out first, arc would still be getting glazed up
