Supply and demand, folks. I got no problem with the cost of Jordans. If people want them you gotta charge them the highest price they are willing to pay. Especially for a luxury good.

It would be one thing if J's were necessity. But they aren't.
Lol @ Jordan's being luxury.

Balenciaga is luxury.
Givenchy is luxury
Prada is luxury.
Louis Vuitton is luxury.
Christopher Kane is luxury.
Saint Laurent Paris is luxury.

Jordan brand doesnt even utilize a fifth of the production quality those brands use in their sneakers.

I don't see anyone putting a gun to their heads to buy them. It's not like food or electricity or some basic necessity that they need. If people want to pay exhorbitant fees for them, let them.

Some people can't understand this!! He put a product out....its up to this fools to run out and cop them :mjpls:

based on the numbers, jordans sell close to if not more than apple and there is an extreme amount more negative reaction towards apple(the asians jumping out of their building) than there is towards jordans.
most people could care less about jordans compared to the vitriol that apple gets. this isnt tech savvy it's just not being a mollusk

Where is that link?

I feel what Steph is saying but as other posters pointed out earlier no one is forcing people to buy Jordan's sneakers. I would like to think that if more players with a large fan base/popularity did the same as he did by partnering up with certain brands or coming with their own companies to produce affordable sneakers maybe it would help combat the mentality where our folks feel the need to spend all our money on non essential things like this.

This isn't new. Steph was saying the same thing when he first debuted his sneaker line years ago. I rock with Steph HEAVY, one of my favorite players of all-time, but I can't fault Jordan. He's operating as a business man, not a man of morals.
