Nah. There was never an agenda from Kobe and his fans about being "better than Jordan". LeBron is insecure and for good reason. He's not better than Larry Bird, much less Jordan.

Point is that Kobe vs MJ isn't even a debate because we all know MJ was better.

MJ vs Bron is actually a debate, even if most pick Jordan. Bron is on NBA Mt Rushmore whether people like it or not. Kobe isn't.

Larry Legend was legit. He 100% had more of a competitive drive over Bron. I watched replays and read books on him, he was nasty.

But what Bron has done is unprecedented. Bron lifted the floor on teams. Larry raised the ceiling but he usually had a squad.
