Marc Gasol needs to go to the Celtics.

He'll be playing on a young and upcoming team that's built around him and he'll be in the East, which ensures less competition and a higher likelihood of multiple playoff appearances. He'll also provide the veteran experience and playoff pedigree that the Celtics roster sorely lacks. The Celtics have the money and Gasol will fill that void of a legit big man/rim protector. Plus with Gasol and their assets/draft picks, the Celtics will have a much easier time acquiring another elite player to make the team a contender. Coach Stevens will find the best way to utilize Gasol and make that team take the next step.

hmm, I wonder if that could have been because he was frustrated with the coaching staff having him chuck up 3's and camp out on the perimeter and even with max effort things felt futile :yeshrug:
Not the mention they kept trying to trade him and the trades would either fail or be rescinded lol.

Grizz are a piece from taking that next step anyway. If they capitalize on Gallo's low trade value he could be that difference for them

Never felt that Pau was treated that bad. So a few rumors swirl around every year that you are on the block. :manny: Blame Stern for that. You are grown ass man getting paid millions. We tell black athletes that all the time why not these Euro Cacs. But it's the Lakers so many on here will :cape:

Now some Laker fans were too hard on Pau and blamed him for everything but he wasn't the same after "basketball reasons" I can somewhat understand where Marc is coming from because it's his brother but if you want to be mired in mediocrity...by all means con't to enjoy your stay in Memphis.

since then parity has increased in the league, and especially in the western conference now.

Lakers are no longer able to win games based on talent alone, the way offensive strategy continues to evolve. And once kobe leaves, they'll be starting way behind the 8ball in terms of acquiring more franchise changing talent.

Only option is to keep right on tanking:ufdup:

Nah, it's been only 5 years since our last chip, and 7 years out of the past 15 that we've been in the finals. Damn right we're used to winning, not entitled.

no doubt but they've already accumulated talent in the last two years and have cap space and even more next season. They are already ahead of the 8 ball. Couldn't say that 2 years ago. And the Lakers never tank. Gawdson let Sixers fans know that last season.:win:

I don't care what anyone says if you tie a ton of money up in DeAndre it's a huge fukking mistake and you will regret that shyt by year 2.
Why? Will he stop being a great rebounder and rim protector in year 2 of his contract? Not to mention he's played 82 games in 4 straight years, he's a iron man. 18 million a year will be a bargain for DeAndre once the cap goes up to 90million per year. Parsons/Haywood are making 16million a year next season.
