Unfortunately, This country systematically destroying the image of the black citizen has little to do with open minded whites adopting a hairstyle based on African history. Now, if these whites with braids are the ones with issues with black hair, then you'd have an argument. But I'm done generalizing their race just like I'm done with them generalizing ours.

i completely get that. But oppression isn't the requirement for braids. And if a white chick is getting braids Im under the assumption she's open minded past the point of caring about black hair considering she sat in a chair for hours to get it.
