Being naive,or having faith in humanity/lions lol. Isnt the same as being predatory,and deciding to eat because your thirsty/hungry. Regardless of the effect it has on the victim.



Like I said im sure some of the women went to be ho's literally and figuratively. But some were probably just naive which is understandable when young.


And I do think there are scenarios where a young man can commit acts that can be deemed predatory. That are not done with intention to harm,but simply from being naive and not knowing better. Take an innocent gun on the dresser for instance. Some things you learn about how women COULD HAVE felt in hindsight as you mature/gain empathy. Theres things we do ,and uncomfortable position that we put women in that we dont think about in our youth. Because we expect women to be like us. But I simply dont see how sexual assault and grabbing strangers bodies,tearing their clothes off could ever be considered a matter of a young male being naive. You have that smacked out of you by the time your a 1st grader if thats apart of your behavior.

Take your lion/robber scenario and replace the adult with a child,and it will all make sense

Nah brother. I am not going to equate being a woman to being a child - two totally different state of minds. This perspective also absolves adult women of personal responsibility, which is a necessary component of being an adult. In essence, you're saying women should never own guns, drink alcohol, drive or vote unfortunately that's a bridge I'm not willing to cross to make a point.

I always respect others viewpoints and it may apply to females who were actually underage that went to the Freaknic.

That's basically what my homegirl told me. Towards the end it was a bunch of old dudes blocking traffic and no women.

To be fair, that's most spots and events: once the women leave, it's a bunch of dudes left and shyt is over not too long after that.

These are 2 different mentalities that dont mix. This invites odius behavior that puts women in an unsafe environment. As I said before you dont see rednecks invading Spring break for all those white college students.

The girls feel safe around students like themselves, kind of like being around your own tribe. But black people being too inclusive made the goon squad feel comfortable to show up and feel up.

If you’d raise all and only the bad things about back in the days nearly all history would be depressing.

Every large youth event where underage drinking is involved, sexual assault occurs. It's literally the least unique aspect of Freaknik, especially given how small Freaknik was compared with the popular Spring Break spots for White college students. So using Freaknik to focus on sexual assault clearly has an agenda. .
