To me it's moreso that we used to have more types of guys but our current social framework has reduced male/guy diversity into just bros, nerds and gay dudes. Marc is a cultured grad school guy who is as comfortable in a lecture hall as he is in a house party. We used to have a lot of black men like that. And Marc has had to adapt his image a bit because the black academic lane is now completely dominated by black women, so he's less cocky than he used to be for fear of being labeled chauvinist. But in the 70s-early 2000s those dudes were covering themselves in academic glory, partying hard, banging chicks and then settling into a professional career (while marrying a younger hot chick).

Now brehs see a smart well read guy and think he's a fanook. To me that just shows how far we've fallen socially as men.

You raise good points, but his ex Scottie Beam has hinted at him going both ways. And on LSA women have said the same. We scoff at LSA, but there were brehettes over there sharing the exact stories about Puff and Cassie 10-12 years ago that recently came out.

Yea but a lot of women insinuate a man is gay after a breakup or if they get turned down. I'd put more credence into LSA than Scottie Beam tbh, but even in that case I don't think he's gay. Just based off the way he argues on the Budden show...imagine a woman trying to deal with that type of logic in an argument against him lol. What other recourse would they have besides calling him gay, to feel better about losing an argument lol. And I'm not saying he's always right, just that (non academic/educated/etc) women would not handle his argument style well.
