Who wasnt? If you was growing up during the mike vick, Donovan, McNair and culpepper era, you thought they were only starting because of how they ran.

In combination with the rooney rule implementation, it muddled a lot of how you saw the league.

Mainstream Analyst did a terrible jobs sans a couple, framing how great these qb’s were.

To me, It wasnt til wilbon and some other black journalist put things into persepctive, that you started to realize it was a concerted effort by the league to keep the narrative the same.

I'm pretty damn liberal, but never in my life have I ever preferred a QB to be white.

All I care about is if he can ball out, not cause drama that affects the team and be a good leader/community dude.

Aikman is white as snow and he was my favorite as a Cowboys fan. Anytime you can get Irvin and Haley to follow you as the leader, you got "it."

Loved watching Romo play, but he lacked the leadership qualities needed. Dude was too cozy with the Jones Family, Witten and Garrett which created friction in the locker room. There's a reason the 2016 squad, immediately gravitated towards Dak.

It's why I couldn't stand Baker Mayfield for years. (White) fans stay dikk-riding him because he has "moxie" which is basically what they call arrogance if the QB is Black. That's what surprised me too. He's a little older than me but there were always black QBs doing things that most white QBs couldn't dream of.
