I really got to ask, with that being a good action on his part, you don't have any suspicion of that? That's like the go to for rich people especially ones in the public eye to keep a clean image. If their main job is sports or rap, then they are a professional in their area that's interested in political issues.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone refer to themselves as a "black leader" that's typically a designation that white folks throw on someone to frame news coverage of a complex event. A perfect example of this was the so called "black lives matter movement" really there is no such thing.
There was/is an organic "policing accountability movement" that arose out of contempt for lack of accountability when policing African Americans. This consist of...

• individuals
• groups
• organizations

...the news arbitrarily took one organization"black lives mater" of the many different orgs and used that one organization to frame news surrounding the actions growing out of that "policing accountability movement".

I'm reminded of Dr. Clarke's assessment of Booker t Washington being propt up by whites.
