The D's only use super delegates to avoid a brokered convention, something the republicans could very likely be looking at. If Bernie won the voted upon delegate count the super delegates would switch to him like they did for Obama.

That's BS and you know it. Why have they alredy committed to a candidate then?

The capin' for the plantation party is real.

They were committed to Hillary before Obama took the voted delegate lead then they switched to him. Are we going to talk about what actually happens or are we discussing made up scenarios you throw out?

Everyone has a problem with superdelegates but the biggest issue is the DNC allowing news networks and media outlets to show them as part of the pledged delegate count. It misinforms the voter and could build a gang mentality.

People bring up the 2008 race but it wasn't nearly this loopsided against Obama as it is for Bernie.

This x100
Less informed people (the majority of voters IMO) see the massive lead Hillary has with Superdelegates included and believe it's a landslide when in reality it's not.

Superdelegates can change who they pledge to at any time so just because they are saying they are pledged to Clinton now doesn't mean that if by some miracle Bernie ends up winning the pledged delegates count that they wouldn't just switch to him like what happened in 2008.

And even if there was a rule that said Superdelegates had to automatically pledge their support to the candidate that won the Superdelegates home state, Hillary would still have an almost 100 point lead on Bernie right now based on the amount of primaries she has won.

Saturday March 5th:

Kansas Caucus - closes 3PM EST for R, starts at 4:30PM EST for D
Kentucky Caucus (R only) - closes 5PM EST
Louisiana Primary - closes at 9PM EST
Nebraska Caucus (D only) - times determined locally, "mid morning to early evening"
Maine Caucus (R only) - times determined locally, "mid morning to early evening"

Sunday March 6th:

Puerto Rico Primary (R only) - closes 3PM EST
Maine Caucus (D only) - closes 9PM EST

*Note: Caucus states have varying start times, results may start coming in before all caucuses close.

Updated the OP with start times and a few articles, these start times are bit complicated due to a lot of the races being caucuses and being on the weekend so they don't wait until night.

I heard the Nebraska caucuses are starting at like 9-10 in the morning in Omaha.

Note: Omaha is the only place in Nebraska with black people.

i think hillary just needs to keep it close while winning LA and then she needs to sweep on the 8th and 15th. then it's actually over :wow:
:blessed: She's going to whip his ass in NO, and keep it close in the other two states to basically get the same amount of delegates as Bernie. There is no way Bernie is catching up, so no reason for the super delegates to switch to him.
