shyt I don't know I thought he was waiting to sign with the Lakers but I know I kept saying why ate the Lakers waiting for Kawhi and he isn't giving any assurances like he could at least told a team you were out of the running he played this offseason like a G....Used the Lakers as Leverage against the Clippers and used the Raptors as leverage against both the Lakers/Clippers...he forced the Thunder to make that move and during that time the Lakers were just waiting.
Hell in all honesty waiting for Kawhi probaly low key cost a bunch of dudes some paper this offseason....And dudes like Al Horford suddenly jumping into free agency and all of the trades.

don't disagree that Kawhi fukked some cats bread up too but the smart teams didn't take chances and/or at least had backup plans.

Lakers seemed to come out very well..seemed like soon as Kawhi announced his choice they initiated plan B and put depth around their stars...
But part of me keeps thinking that maybe the Marcus Morris marker wasn't that great. The main teams I see wanting him were the Lakers, Kings, Clippers, Knicks, 76ers, Wizards and of those teams obviously have to toss in the Spurs...the majority of them prioritized other players higher 76ers/Lakers/Clippers...
I think Morris 2 option's Spurs and Knicks were the ones he would of gotten and neither team seemed to want to do more than 2 years for him
..Dude just needs to ball out and cash in next season because free agency is weak.
Same with Noel I doubt anyone was offering him a MLE and I thought he would be a food fit with the Lakers but they chose Mcgee
