Every single one of these crybabies has made a conscious effort at one point or another to deride and disparge other black athletes and/or entertainers. I'm thinking it was right before they absorbed Harkless contract. so I'm thinking they offered him something like that over 3-4 years....Next years free agency is so weak I can see a team offering him at least what he got now over a longer term especially teams needing a stretch big....

Right now he's got 1 year for $15 million from the Knicks. Even if he can get an additional 2 years at the same annual rate in 2020, the risk/reward taking the Knicks (or even the Spurs') offer makes no sense.
As a (good) role player, giving up $4 million to guarantee yourself $41 million over three years is a no-brainer. One injury (or a more cap-constrained environment than projected, or a worse season than expected), and you could be back down at the vet minimum.
