How long should this have taken? It's on a relatively small budget and started shooting in January.

F4 had a budget of $155M and they finished in 72 days.

Joker started filming September 10, 2018 and finished December 3rd.

...I'm prepared to be wrong. Just felt like they made the shooting commencement announcement couple weeks ago. Time flies. Just used to these films with multiple locations and bigger budgets I guess.

Most Hollywood movies principle filming take about 2 to 3 months. So Birds of Prey is right around the average time.
Plus this was a smaller budgeted film too so it wasn't going to take too long to film and even post-production won't take that long since there are not likely to be a million effects heavy scenes in this.

I'm not expecting this to be a great film. I think it'll be solid because it's more focused and hopefully less toyed with because all those old execs are gone now. Margot Robbie does the character well.. if it's at least an interesting ride then I'm in
