Where was this light-skinned privilege for Tinashe lol? Not to say that colorism isn’t a thing, but these light-skinned female acts aren’t doing better than their dark-skinned counterparts. I mean, Ella Mai and Halle Bailey dropped an album like a week ago, and nobody cared. The only female R&B acts that are selling are Summer and SZA. And both of them are far from light-skinned. The same people who agreed with ol girl’s opinion. Probably don't actually support/buy Coco Jones, Ari Lennox, Normani, or any other dark-skinned singer's projects.
