This is for you and @Pressure
Throughout the 240+ years of this country’s history, FBA’s have basically had a Trump every 4 years(denying us of wealth, leaving us unprotected from race soldiers), so another 4 years of Trump won’t hurt us.

If the Dems don’t give us what we want, which are reparations(which includes cash payments), then we’ll let the whole country hold that L and deal w/ 4 more years of Trump.
I'm a black man. I've been locked up before. I've been harrased by police. I've seen conservatives underfund schools. I've seen what the challenges to bussing laws have done to schools in my city. I've seen how underfunding social programs has had negative affects on black families. I could go on and on.

Black people are owed reparations, but there are plenty of things that affect the life of me, my child, and people who look like me that makes sitting elections out a non option.

Also, the premise of your argument is flawed. Black people haven't been able to vote for 240 years. :unimpressed:

Bet. Them numbers soundin' flimsy though.
It was refreshing to see until she got the numbers. She's been advised publicly on how minor that $200-500 billion is... and I remember right, she said she'd raise it.... but here she is acknowledging the debt owed only to propose a fraction of it :gucci:

I've said it before but my worry with her the leading/foremost candidate on reparations is that she's setting parameters on how far this discussion will ever go. She's already the "fringe" candidate, anything beyond what she's talking (which is what's actually owed) will have a much harder time being taken seriously if NOT for her doing this.

People won't realize til it's too late :francis:

This seems to be an idealistic view of elections. Are you not concerned about the consequences of said candidate?

Do you believe things can't get worse for black people?

You're the homie, I'm not trying to come at you funny and I figured you and I could at least have a normal discussion. :salute:
Staying in tuned with Byron Allen’s case, I would definitely say I’m very concerned about the consequences of someone like Trump being re-elected. With that being said, I’m also concerned about AA’s and what happens to the entirety of the group if we continue down the path of no specifics.

I do believe things can get worse, but current trajectory has it getting worse for us regardless of who’s in office.

And you good, breh. I know there ain’t any malicious intent. We’re just having conversation, and I appreciate hearing opposing views, as it forces me to consider all possibilities.

I’m going to vote next Novemeber, I just won’t support anyone who won’t do anything specifically for my group. If there are no candidates w/ a BA agenda, I’ll simply write in “ADOS”.

You're voting for someone you don't has a chance. That's not agenda. That's a dream.

SPIN: I disagree. Black people need to show up for her. She should be on that debate stage and polling at 5% easy.

But shout out to her for staying in the race. If black people want politicians to pay attention, then you need to produce the numbers. Those politicians look at the data as much as anyone else. Otherwise, they go with the Obama argument, "they just on twitter but nowhere else".
Hopefully, these ads will help her drum up more support from us.

I haven’t donated to her campaign in a few months, but I need to get back on that.

No one pays attention to write in candidates in the general election and they have no lasting value. What have Gary Johnson and Jill Stein done for the respective 2016 voters? That said there is value in voting for her and canvassing for her in the primary if she pushes an agenda that falls in line with your own. Lastly, a Trump presidency is directly at odds with much of what you consider important. How do you reconcile that?
So is a Democratic presidency.

Or support someone like Warren, who made it clear they ain’t doing shyt for FBA.

I understand you got kids, so stuff like school funding and social matter to you, but Black Wealth is set to hit 0 by 2053(it’s basically there in cities like LA; Boston, and Miami), but no amount of social programs outside of reparations can fix that :unimpressed:

Me and my tribe need that bag breh :unimpressed:

Actually, this is genius. Black folks will jump on because she's at least speakin' on it, and white folks will do the math & gladly get this over with for $7-15/head and really be able to tell Black folks to get over it.

She won't get my vote with those amounts.

Having zero representation in government isn't going to get you your bag.

Meanwhile your kids can't read and you're family is broken up because of the prison industrial complex, but hey at least you're complaining on the internet. :unimpressed:

Regarding warren:

Senator Elizabeth Warren backs reparations for black Americans

Using your vote as leverage and stating what you want to politicians will get us that bag breh :unimpressed:

We’re already doing that as we speak, shouts to Yvette; Tone, Jameion Fowler, and other everyday FBA’s asking these politicians in person about reparations. :salute:

As far as your girl Liz, she said “a check for what :gucci:” when our brother Fowler asked if she gon cut us a check :unimpressed:
