Looking at the top of page and seeing where the offense was last season and the turn around to now is incredible. They are incredibly balanced and can run and throw with ease. The offense is soo efficient and they havent even gelled yet. Mario and Mirabal got that oline playing at such an elite level, they flipped that room in one season, that alone allows the skill guys to do whatever they want.So the Hurricanes currently sit at 4-0 to begin the 2023 season.
To be clear, you don't want to pat these guys on the back too much. They've played Miami (OH), Texas A&M, Bethune, and Temple.
Not exactly powerhouse programs.
But in recent years, Miami had often played down to, or outright lost to teams they should have dominated. So with that in mind, it's a good sign to see them make easy work of such opponents this year.
Things will get interesting in the next month, with their next 3 games coming
at home vs Georgia Tech
on the road at North Carolina
at home vs Clemson
Defense still has room for improvement, the rushing defense numbers will probably be top 5 in nation after this week and I think it will hold true for most part the rest of the season but that pass defense is not gonna get it done.. We dont have the horses and on backend they just not sticky enough to lockup the matchups we have coming up. We starting three 5'10 corners and fsu got 6'4+ WR and their offense basically is a jumpball offense, they just spam fade balls until they hit one from the looks of clemson game.. If they can figure that out I can see 9-10 win season, if not ehhh..
