I'm thinking of buying a Wii u for this game but I want to feel good about buying one and not buying it just for one game. Are there enough games on Wii U + Wii combined to justify it and is this game that fun?

If you buy this game, you get one of 4 games free: New Super Mario Bros, Pikmin 3, WiiU Party or Zelda: Wind Waker HD.
So that's two games right there. Super Mario 3D World is very good and I recommend buying that.
If you're worried, just wait until E3 next Tuesday for Nintendo's conference (direct). They'll show you what's dropping. Smash Bros is coming late this year, so that's a must buy.
ok, so i finally unlocked everyone and got 3 stars for all 50cc and 100cc cups. i thought 100cc was cake, until i got to dat star cup, and fukking ai was on some 150cc time 
. those last 4 cups in 100cc weren't easy. will definitely need to spend more time getting these tracks down before i go back to 150cc. still need to unlock more vehicles, wheels and gliders.
but i did get 3 stars on the shell cup in 150cc. i know i can get 3 stars for the mushroom and flower cups in 150cc, but it's those other ones will definitely need more reps. if you're playing 150cc, the trick is to ease up after the first lap. let at least 2 ai opponents go ahead of you and try to stay at least in 3rd or 4th place. once you hit the final lap, the dude in first will automatically get got from a blue shell. once he goes down, its between you and the dude in second. the reason why i recommend you stay third is that you more than likely will get something better than the second dude and use that item to your advantage. if you get a red shell, save it until the first dude goes down and then use it on the second place guy who took the lead. you can't fukk up, tho. one mistake and the ai will capitalize and your ass is sitting back in third.
