If you play by yourself, yeah.Nothing in this game says this is worth $80
If you have gaming friends to play with though, you can already tell your going to put hours upon hours into this game just by looking at this direct.

It looks fun no doubt but there was nothing shown that screamed "and this is why it's $80!"
if they came out and said all dlc will be free if purchased by a certain date @90 pricepoint.. I'm still not sure id do it

It's not 28 new courses persay. 18 new and 14 from previous games. Plus all the in between sections for all the course. Though the ones from from SNES are mashups of the different versions of each track. Example SNES Mario Circuit is Mario Circuit 1, 2 & 3 in the same track and Koopa Troopa Beach is 1&2. I'm seeing there are hidden track in the world as well. Someone found Ghost Valley.

Gonna be the first game I boot up when I pickup my switch June 5th 
The $80 price point for any game is ass, but generally speaking I do think this is a AAA Nintendo game and will be very fun to play with friends
